Dniprodzerzhinsk state technical university (DSTU)

DSTU is one of the prominent technical universities in Ukraine known for its rich historical background, scientific heritage and significant research achievements. Founded in 1920, today DSTU has more than 5.000 students, 854 employees, 317 teachers 76% of which have degrees of Professors and Associate Professors. DSTU provides training in 28 specialties at 35 departments, postgraduate study on 14 specialties. Special Academic Council for defending PhD dissertations on 2 specialties functions here. It also comprises 2 colleges, 1 technical secondary school, Regional educational scientific industrial complex "Prometey". DSTU cooperates with institutions from Russia, Kazakhstan, Poland, Spain, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Great Britain, USA. In February 2013 DSTU established the Center of International Cooperation and Students’ Mobility for developing professional networks, establishing research associations and promoting DSTU services and technologies to the world’s market.
