Mission of KTU
The mission of [KTU] is to implement collaborative projects between industry, science and education for realization of collaborative research, start-up projects, spin-off companies and stimulating knowledge-driven regional development.

The KTU aspires:

  • to become an enabling catalyst and a supportive bridge between the industrial community and University to create collaborative industrial companies in which the share will have owners, universities and investors;
  • to become a major university department to promote and implement perspective and innovative research that will raise the international profile of University and strengthen its national standing.



The values of KTU are:

  1. Professionalism (competence, reliability ,integrity, consistency, honesty: these are the major factors in determining the success of interactions and collaborations)
  2. Networking (we create, organize and develop networks for providing information and maintaining relationships with industry, other research organizations, government agencies and academia)

All this will help us  to develop long term friendly relationships built on trust)

Main goals of KTU:

  • to create and share innovation at economics and public sector;
  • KTU should support knowledge and technology transfer, including skills and experience, and mutually beneficial collaborations:
    • inside University (professors, researchers, students)
    • to external customers (business partners, employers, universities, industries and communities, governmental bodies)
    • collaboration between ‘internal’ and ‘external’ target groups, trimming communications between them.


Objectives of KTU:

  • monitoring of the social and economic needs on regional, national and international level to determine the perspective directions of innovation abilities of the University;
  • determine and support of promising results and achievements for commercialization purposes;
  • development and realization of life-long learning courses on the basis of agreements between enterprises, organizations, state and public authorities, educational establishments;
  • internal academic knowledge transfer, development of culture and skills among this sphere by University;
  • establishing and fostering communication between academic and industry in financial and other economical subjects;
  • development of an international knowledg KTU in the University of Banking provides the following services:


1. Conduct Research & Development (R&D)

  • Assessment (valuation and providing) quality of human attention in all domains of human activity (Eye-tracking technology);
  • 3D-modeling;
  • «Green» technologies;
  • Remote banking services;
  • Computer networks security;
  • in the banking and finance:
  • Theoretical fundamentals and macroeconomic aspects of the transformation economy financial sector;
  • Banking in a financial markets globalized;
  • The development of financial and credit markets infrastructure;
  • Actual issues of accounting, analysis and financial flows audit;
  • Historical and philosophical aspects of the money and banking evolutions;
  • Intensification of interaction between banking and real sectors of the economy;
  • Mathematical methods, models and information technologies in banking;
  • Organizational and personnel support for the effective functioning of the financial and economic systems;
  • Ways to improve innovation and investment activity;
  • Regional aspects of the financial and credit systems and its impact on socio-economic development of the regions;
  • Problems of the modern education in the country.

Today we offer the following industrial courses:

  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate, certified expert on Computer Networks) - basic course on the theory and practice of designing, creating and technical support of the local and global networks using common standards and solutions;
  • CCNA Security - specialized basic course for CCNA level Cisco professionals in the field of network security.

 4. Providing consulting services in the technology commercialization:

  • Technological audit;
  • Patent support;
  • Marketing support;
  • Business planning;
  • Innovation projects management etc.

5. Joint organization of the scientific events (round tables, seminars, etc.)
